TEDMED Technical Director

San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts. TEDMED is in town with a Simulcast event between San Francisco and The Lincoln Center in Washington DC. This show adheres to the usual TED format but with the simulcast we are throwing live between venues. Every cue pertains to both cities and probably also explains the 5 channels of ClearCom I'm tied into. I'm calling the San Francisco show with Miles Kapper on the Washington DC end. We have Sean Gannet (SF) and Sean Neiburg (DC) as Assistant Stage management. It's a big running crew, with satellite and edit suite kept busy too. As well as presenters we have internationally acclaimed performance artists, full live bands and theatrical stage elements. Great Crew, great show and it has been flawless, thanks to thorough rehearsal and preparation. That's me on the right.
