TEDxMARIN

TedX Marin is also part of the world famous TED franchise. TED was born in 1984 out of Richard Saul Wurman's observation of a powerful convergence among three fields: technology, entertainment and design. The first TED included a demo of the compact disc, the e-book and cutting-edge 3D graphics from Lucasfilm, while mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot demonstrated how to map coastlines using his developing theory of fractal geometry.

TedXMarin is no exception in its showcasing of innovation. In terms of the event, I've been technical director for several years now. It's always interesting and the crew are old friends at his point. I call the show as well as running the GFX switch and playback. Good times and close to home. Nothing wrong with that.
